High-Capacity Magazine, Stolen Firearm Found During Routine CT Traffic Stop: Police
A late-night traffic stop in Connecticut led to the arrest of a local man after police found a stolen firearm, ammunition, and marijuana packaged for sale in his vehicle, police said.
At approximately 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 15, Bristol officers were conducting motor vehicle enforcement on Pine Street when police stopped Shawn Rodriguez, of Bristol, for a headlight violation, Lt. Eric Hanson said. During the stop, officers noticed an improperly stored firearm inside Rodriguez’s vehicle. The firearm was later determined to be stolen.

Stamford Man Nabbed With Guns, Ammo, Fentanyl After Police Receive Tip, Cops Say
A Fairfield County man was caught with guns, ammo, and fentanyl after police received a tip from the Crime Stoppers Gun Tip Program.
Kevin Llewellyn, age 31, of Stamford, was charged on Saturday, July 7 in Stamford.
According to Assistant Chief Richard Conklin of the Stamford Police, agents with the Narcotics and Organized Crime Unit received the tip that Llewellyn had a firearm.
Conklin said agents, along with the patrol unit and K9 Officer Gale, conducted surveillance of Llewellyn and captured him while he was in the area of Rose Park Avenue and Richmond Hill Avenue.
