6 Hospitalized With Life-Threatening Injuries In New Britain Route 72 Rollover Crash Six people were hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after the car they were in went off the road, hit a guardrail, and rolled over, authorities said. The crash was reported just after 7:45 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 16, near Exit 2 on Route 72 West in New Britain. Connecticut State Police said the driver of a BMW SUV lost control of the vehicle and struck the guardrail. Troopers have not determined what caused the car to leave the roadway. Man Critical After CT Shooting On Neighborhood Street Police in Connecticut are investigating after a man was found shot and is suffering from life-threatening injuries. The incident occurred in New Haven County around 11 a.m., Thursday, May 30, on a neighborhood street at 65 Angel Drive in Waterbury. According to Lt. Ryan Bessette of the Waterbury Police, officers responded to the report of a shooting and located a 52-year-old man. The victim, who has not been identified, was rushed to the hospital where he is in critical condition with life-threatening injuries, Bessette said.
