Trevor Smith, 42, was arrested Friday and faces charges of criminal possession of a firearm and criminal use of a gun, police said. He is also wanted on an unrelated warrant out of New Haven, though authorities did not provide details about that case. 3 Police Officers Attacked In Separate CT Incidents Three Connecticut officers were attacked over the weekend in two separate incidents. The attacks occurred on Saturday, June 29, in New Haven County in West Haven and New London County in Norwich.  In West Haven, one officer was injured when Imran Ahmed, age 54, of West Haven, allegedly deliberately crashed his vehicle into an occupied police cruiser that was helping another officer who Ahmed had been trying to run off the roadway.
