DC Murder Suspect Captured In CT After Manhunt A man wanted for murder in a deadly Washington, D.C. shooting was arrested in Connecticut. Tyjuan Bazemore, 35, was taken into custody in Middletown on Tuesday, Feb. 10, according to the U.S. Marshals Service. U.S. Marshals and the Middletown Police Department made the arrest. DC Officials said Bazemore was wanted in connection with a fatal shooting on Feb. 2. Police found a woman unresponsive and suffering a gunshot wound after responding to a home for a 911 hangup call.  Police identified the victim as 27-year-old Nyesha Walden-Hatcher. Thompson Jr., 30, of Worcester, was convicted of second-degree murder and reckless endangerment of a child on Thursday, Aug. 7, the Worcester County District Attorney's Office said.  The shooting occurred early on July 5, 2020, when Lopez, 24, was shot while sitting in the backseat of a car on Almont Avenue in Worcester. CT Man's Death Ruled Homicide, Police Asking For Information Police say a man found dead early Wednesday morning was killed, authorities announced.  Russell McKenzie, 57, was found dead in his Walnut Street apartment in New Haven around 1:15 a.m., police said.
