A Connecticut man is facing serious charges after state police wrapped up a lengthy investigation into an alleged sexual assault involving a minor, authorities said. Adam Jaquith, 20, of Chaplin, was arrested after troopers investigated a report of sexual assault involving a minor that was first reported on August 21, 2023, Connecticut State Police said. Jaquith turned himself in to authorities on Tuesday, Jan. 13. Investigators said Jaquith was 18 at the time of the alleged incident and later sought an arrest warrant. CT Man Guilty Of Repeatedly Sexually Abusing Girl He Knew Over 8 Years: State
A Connecticut jury has found that a 48-year-old man repeatedly sexually abused a girl for more than eight years, authorities said. Corey Baker, of Hamden, was found guilty of sexual assault in the fourth degree and risk of injury to a minor, the Office of State's Attorney announced on Friday, Dec. 5. Judge Peter L. Brown, who presided over the trial, will also sentence Baker in February. Baker knew his victim and began abusing her when she was just 6 years old. It continued until she was 14, prosecutors said. Authorities did not disclose how Baker knew the victim.

A Connecticut man was found guilty of sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl, after a Tolland County jury returned four guilty verdicts in a case that stunned the local community.
