Tractor-Trailer Crash Causes Massive Traffic Jam On Route 15 A portion of Route 15 was closed Thursday morning, Feb. 13, after a car crashed with a tractor-trailer. The wreck was reported around 7:45 a.m. between westbound Exits 66 and 68, CTRoads.org said. No one was hurt, but the crash caused a traffic jam that stretched four miles. The Department of Energy and Environmental responded to the scene because of a reported fuel leak.  Police closed the I-691 West ramp (Exit 68W) ramp Thursday morning as they cleaned, cleared, and investigated the scene. State Trooper Injured After I-84 Crash In Danbury Causes Hours-Long Closure A Connecticut State Police trooper was injured after an overnight crash that caused a three-hour closure on a stretch of I-84. It happened in Fairfield County just after 9 p.m. Friday, June 14, in Danbury. The 41-year-old trooper was inside her cruiser with the emergency lights activated at the scene of another accident on the shoulder on the westbound side between Exit 8 on and off ramps.
