2 Young Men Killed, Third Wounded In New Haven Shooting Near Apartment Complex Two men were killed, and a third man was wounded after a shooting near a Connecticut apartment complex, police said. The violence unfolded around 1:30 p.m. Monday, June 23, near the Fort Hale Gardens apartment complex on Woodward Avenue in New Haven. When officers arrived, they found no victims at the scene. Police said all three men had been taken to or dropped off near Yale New Haven Hospital in private vehicles. Investigators believe the shooting involved two groups of men who knew each other.
