Teen, Woman Hospitalized In Scooter Vs. Car Crash In New Canaan
A Connecticut 17-year-old boy and a 53-year-old woman were rushed to the hospital following a crash in Fairfield County, authorities said. Investigators are asking for witnesses of the incident. The wreck was reported just after 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 24, at South Avenue near the northbound ramp for the Merritt Parkway in New Canaan, police said. An initial investigation found the woman's van was turning onto the parkway when it crashed into the teen's Vespa scooter, New Canaan police said. Street Racers May Have Caused I-84 Multi-Car Crash, Police Say
Connecticut State Police report a multi-vehicle crash on I-84 was likely caused by street racers. The crash occurred around 10 p.m., Monday, July 1, on I-84 between Exits 68 and 69 in Tolland. According to State Police, responding troopers located an extensive debris field and one vehicle that had rolled during the crash. Police in Connecticut are asking for information and witnesses after a woman was found bleeding and unresponsive in a parking lot.
