CT State Rep. Assaulted During Prayer Service, Police Say A Connecticut man has been arrested after a state representative was assaulted while attending a Muslim prayer service. According to officials, Connecticut Rep. Maryam Khan (Hartford) was assaulted around 11 a.m., Wednesday, June 28, while attending an Eid al-Adha prayer service at the XL Center in Hartford. Hartford Police were called to the area of 225 Trumbull St., on a report of a man assaulting a woman, Lt. Aaron Boisvert of the Hartford Police said.
