The events leading up to the crash began in Hartford County on Thursday, June 6 around 1:15 a.m., when a 2004 Honda Accord EX became disabled in the right lane of Route 5/15 South in East Hartford south of the on-ramp from Interstate 84 West. Woman Killed After Car Swerves Across Lanes, Strikes Concrete Barrier On I-84 In CT Authorities are investigating a two-car crash on a busy highway in Connecticut that left a woman dead.  The crash happened in Hartford County on Thursday, Feb. 8 just before 7 a.m. on Interstate 84 West in Manchester, according to Connecticut State Police.  According to authorities, a Hyundai Genesis had been traveling east of the Exit 61 on-ramp in the center lane when a Nissan Juke also traveling west in the HOV lane veered across the swale and left lane and collided with the Genesis.
