CT Woman Charged In Death Of Her 4-Week-Old Granddaughter A woman is behind bars after being charged with manslaughter in the death of her 4-week-old granddaughter in Fairfield County. Eleanor Herman, age 61, of Bridgeport, was charged on Tuesday, Jan. 23 for the Sunday, Feb. 21, 2021, death. According to Capt. Kevin Gilleran of the Bridgeport Police, officers were called to a Bronx Avenue home for a child not breathing. The baby was transported to the hospital by her uncle before police arrived, Gilleran said. Medical staff pronounced the baby dead, he added. Warning Issued For Fentanyl-Laced Adderall After College Student Dies From Overdose Colleges are issuing warnings about fentanyl-laced Adderall after one student died and another is in critical condition after using the fake drug. Ohio State University in Columbus issued an urgent warning on Thursday, May 5, after three students overdosed, with one later dying and one remaining in critical condition.
