CT Caregiver Critical After 30-Foot Fall While Raking Leaves A Connecticut woman is in critical condition after falling off a 30-foot cliff while raking leaves. The incident took place in New London County on Sunday, Nov. 5 around 1 p.m. in Mystic behind a Quarry Road home. According to Stonington Police Assitant Chief Todd Olson, the department received a call from a woman in her 90s who reported that her caregiver was missing. The incident occurred in New Haven around 6:15 a.m. in the area of Yale and Edgewood Avenues. According to Sgt. Cherelle Carr of the New Haven Police, the victim was jogging when the unknown man approached her with a firearm and attempted to force her into a nearby wooded area and struck her in the face. The incident took place in Hartford County early Friday, April 21 in the town of Avon.
