Man's Body Found In Wooded Area At CT State Park This story has been updated. A man's body was in a wooded area at a Connecticut state park. The incident took place in Litchfield County around 5:30 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 30 at Stillwater Pond State Park in Torrington, according to Paul Copleman, spokesman for the state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection. According to Copleman, the man is 35 years old. "There is no threat to the public," he said. "We are grateful for the assistance of the Torrington Police Department."
