Attempted CT Carjacker Found Hiding Under Vehicle, Police Say A Connecticut man was found hiding under a vehicle with a pipe wrapped in a towel after allegedly attempting to pull off a carjacking. The incident took place in New Haven County on  Saturday, April 1 at the CVS at 734 Bridgeport Ave., in Milford. Milford Police responded to the CVS parking lot after receiving word of the attempted carjacking. Upon arrival, the victim told officers they were putting their bags in the car when they felt someone grab their arm and place an object on the side of their chest, said the Milford Police. $100K Winning Lottery Ticket Sold At Milford Store One lucky person claimed a $100,000 prize after buying a lottery ticket at a store in Milford.  The $100,000 CASH5 top prize-winning ticket was sold at Milford Smoke Junction on Sunday, Jan. 22, according to an announcement from Connecticut Lottery.  The store is located at 487 A Bridgeport Ave. (Route 1).   Connecticut Lottery did not reveal any details about who bought the winning ticket.

5 Retailers Accused Of Selling Tobacco Products, E-Cigarettes To Minors After CT Detail Five Connecticut businesses were caught allegedly selling tobacco and e-cigarette to minors during a compliance check. The checks took place in New Haven County on Monday, Nov. 14 in Milford. The Milford Police Department working with the state Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services Tobacco Prevention and Enforcement Program conducted unannounced compliance inspections of establishments that sell tobacco products and/or electronic cigarettes.
