Two rival groups shot at each other inside and outside a Connecticut 7-Eleven, sending employees and customers scrambling for safety.
The incident occurred in New Haven around 1:55 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 3, at the 7-Eleven at 400 Foxon Blvd.
When police arrived, they found a chaotic scene and one person injured from shattered glass, but miraculously no one was shot, said Capt. Rose Dell of the New Haven Police.

A Connecticut man was arrested after two firefighters and a tractor-trailer driver were injured during a fiery crash on I-91.
The crash took place around Wednesday, March 8 at 11:15 p.m., on I-91 southbound in New Haven.

A Connecticut resident who grew up in Westchester County and worked in insurance, automobiles, and real estate over the course of his career has died at the age of 78.
Fairfield County resident Kurt Hothorn Jr., of Greenwich, died at Greenwich Hospital on Friday, Sept. 23, according to his obituary.
He was born in New York City and raised in Scarsdale, his obituary said.
Hothorn graduated from Concordia Prep, and he went on to study at Valparaiso University in Indiana.
He served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War, his obituary said.

Two drivers were killed in a wrong-way, head-on crash in Connecticut.
It happened at about 2:30 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 26, on I-91 in New Haven County.
A 2020 Toyota Camry XLE was going the wrong way, traveling south in the northbound lanes of the highway between Exit 17 and Exit 18 in Meriden, when it collided with a northbound 2012 BMW X5 Xdrive35i, according to Connecticut State Police.
