Covid-19: Positivity Rate Under 4 Percent In CT, 119 New Deaths Reported
The daily COVID-19 positivity rate in Connecticut held steady under 4 percent as the death toll in the state topped 10,400 since the beginning of the pandemic.
On Wednesday, Feb. 23, 11,467 COVID-19 tests were administered in Connecticut, resulting in 458 confirmed new cases for a 3.99 percent positive infection rate, up slightly from the previous day.
Last month, the infection rate hovered above 20 percent for several weeks, peaking in the middle of the month.
One hundred and nineteen new COVID-19 fatalities in the past week in Connecticut brought the death toll to 10,443 since March 2020…
