Man Charged In $6K Theft From Store In Fairfield County A suspect has been charged for allegedly stealing thousands of dollars in merchandise from a Fairfield County store with two others. Westport Police said officers responded to a report of shoplifting just before 7 p.m. on Aug. 13, 2020 at the Ulta Beauty located at 1365 Post Road East. Greenwich Traffic Stop Leads To Discovery Of Stolen Wallets Valued At $2K, Police Say Two men are facing charges after a Greenwich traffic stop led to the discovery of two stolen wallets valued at around $1,000 each, police say. Greenwich police conducted a traffic stop Wednesday, Feb. 13 at around 1:30 p.m. after observing a vehicle run a stop sign. The driver, identified as 35-year-old Julio Patrone of the Bronx, was found to have no license. Further investigation also led to the discovery of two Alexander McQueen wallets inside the vehicle, one valued at $995 and the other at $1,095 for a total of $2,090. Man Accused Of Stealing $2.8K Worth Of Furniture From Area Residence A wanted man is in police custody after allegedly stealing nearly $3,000 of furniture from a Connecticut home he was living in. New Haven resident Timothy Dawson was arrested by police in Milford on Thursday, Nov. 15 in regards to an active warrant that was out for his arrest for larceny. According to police, Dawson, 43, is accused of taking more than $2,800 worth of furniture from a residence he was residing at in August in Milford. Dawson was arrested and charged with third-degree larceny. He was released and is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 11 to answer the charge.
