Car Crash Leads To Shoplifting Charges For Women In Westport After discovering a large amount of tagged clothing in the back of a vehicle while investigating a motor-vehicle crash, police identified its occupants and uncovered a shoplifting scheme that amounted for more than $1,000. The crash occurred Friday, Sept. 28 at around 3:45 p.m. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Niajeha Green, and the passenger was Tajanique Watson of Bridgeport. Police also discovered a large magnet typically used for shoplifting in Watson’s possession.
