Man Who Drove Onto Shoulder Of Road Charged With DUI, Wilton Police Say An allegedly drunk Fairfield County driver swerving in the shoulder of a busy roadway in the middle of the night is facing a drug charge after being busted with prescription pills, police said. Fairfield resident Stephen Roger Audet, 51, was stopped by an officer from the Wilton Police Department at approximately 2:30 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7, when he was spotted weaving and driving on the shoulder of Cannon Road near the intersection of Pimpewaug Road in Wilton.
