Police Dish Out 13 Tickets In Safety Detail On Route 6 Near Putnam/Fairfield County Border New York State Police troopers teamed with Connecticut State Police and the Danbury Police Department to dish out more than a dozen tickets during an “occupant safety checkpoint” detail in Putnam County near the Connecticut State line. A total of 13 tickets were handed out by police during the detail, which was conducted on Route 6 and Danbury Road in Southeast, near the state line, two of which were seatbelt or passenger restraint-related violations.
