Numerous Incidents Reported On Slick Area Roadways
This story has been updated. Numerous accidents are being reported Friday morning amid the slick road conditions as a result of the Nor'easter. A stretch of the Taconic State Parkway was closed both ways between Bryant Pond Road and I-84 due to a large downed tree and multiple accidents until about 10 a.m., with traffic backed up to the Westchester/Putnam border. Separate crashes have been reported on the Saw Mill River Parkway in Northern Westchester. A crash involving an overturned vehicle is blocking the left lane southbound at Route 117 (Exit 43) at 9:30 a.m. Just a bit farther south…
