Donald Prior, of Westport, is one of 28 members of Beta Theta Pi who were named in a lawsuit by the parents of Timothy Piazza, who died at the age of 19 at a party at the frat house during pledging. Student From Fairfield County Charged With Breaking Ear Off Penn State Lion A Fairfield County teenager is facing charges after allegedly breaking the ear off a Nittany Lion shrine on the Penn State campus, according to multiple reports. Officials said that the lion’s right ear was broken off on Feb. 24. Following an investigation, The Daily Collegian reported that Fairfield resident Matthew Ian Deutch, 19, and Broadway, N.C. resident Skylar Belden, 18, were charged with criminal mischief and tampering with evidence by university police this week.
