One Teen In Custody After Clerk Punched In Fairfield Gas Station Robbery One of two suspects is in custody after a gas station robbery in Fairfield in which a clerk was punched in the face, said police. The robbery occurred at Star Fuels on Jennings Road off the Black Rock Turnpike on Saturday, June 23 at about 9:40 p.m., said Lieutenant Robert Kalamaras of the Fairfield Police Department. The store clerk called 911 to report he had just been robbed by two black males, one of which may have had a gun underneath his shirt, Kalamaras said.
