Man With Bench Warrant From Stamford, Detainer By ICE Nabbed In Darien
A man from Bridgeport with a Stamford bench warrant and a detainer by ICE was arrested in Darien, according to Darien Police. Officers responded to the Trader Joe’s parking lot at 436 Post Road on the report of a minor vehicle accident. One of the drivers, whom police identified as 48-year-old Nelson Berganza, was determined to have an outstanding bench warrant for failing to appear in court for an arrest made by Stamford Police.
