A career criminal is facing new charges for alleged armed robberies at five Connecticut gas stations while using a teenager as a lookout. New Haven resident William Rosario Lopez, 34, and New Britain resident Solimar Rodriguez Gonzalez, 19, have been charged with federal offenses for their roles in multiple armed robberies of gas stations last month. Man Admits To Committing Multiple Violent Armed Robberies
A 44-year-old man is facing 25 years in prison after admitting to federal robbery and weapon charges following a violent armed robbery spree late last year that spilled into January this year. Jeffrey Stokarski of Waterbury pleaded guilty in New Haven to one count of Hobbs Act Robbery and one count of using a firearm in relation to a crime of violence for a spree that lasted from Dec. 27 through Jan. 9 in Connecticut.
