CT Schools Schedule Early Dismissals Due To Extreme Heat Some schools in Connecticut will be letting students out of class early on Monday afternoon as the state contends with the first heatwave of the summer. Schools announced schedule changes for Monday, June 7, as the heat index is expected to top 100 degrees with the school year winding down. Students have also been advised to wear light, loose-fitting clothes to help combat the rising temperatures. Covid-19: CT School District Switches To Remote Learning After Possible Exposure A school district in Connecticut has switched to remote learning for Friday, Sept. 18 after possible student exposure to COVID-19. The move affects all classes at Litchfield Public Schools.
