Andrew Selesnick has been in his post at the Katonah-Lewisboro School District since 2015, when he accepted the position after serving as principal at Horace Greeley High School in Chappaqua. Beloved Former Teacher In Stamford, New Canaan Native Dies A former teacher who worked for schools in both Northern Westchester and Fairfield County has died.  Margaret "Peggy" Beccaria died on Sunday, Jan. 15 at the age of 85, according to her obituary.  A native of New Canaan, Beccaria graduated from high school there before attending college at Western Connecticut State University. She was 63 years old. She was born in Kingston, NY on July 1, 1958 to Donald and Noel Edman. Denise was the eldest of five children and grew up in Katonah.
