Patient Allegedly Assaulted By Fairfield Woman Westport Medical Facility
A 32-year-old Fairfield resident turned herself into police custody this week nearly two years after she allegedly assaulted a patient at a Westport medical facility, according to a report. Elizabeth Scoran surrendered to police in Fairfield on Wednesday, according to the Westport News report, after a warrant for her arrest was obtained. She allegedly assaulted a patient on May 8, 2016, leaving the patient with facial and head injuries. Scoran was charged with third-degree assault and released on $500 bond. She is due to appear in Norwalk Court next month to answer the charge.
