Lane Closures: I-684 To Be Affected In Multiple Towns Traffic on a highway in Northern Westchester will soon be affected by a series of scheduled lane closures over the coming days.  The closures are scheduled to affect Interstate 684 in both the towns of Bedford and North Salem, according to the New York State Department of Transportation.  The closures will begin in Bedford on both directions of I-684 between Exit 4 (Route 172) and Exit 6 (Route 35) at night between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. beginning on Monday, June 5, and continuing to Friday, June 9 to allow for construction work.  The other closure will affect I-684 northbound in…

Lane Closures: I-684 Stretch To Be Affected A series of upcoming single and double-lane closures on a busy highway in Northern Westchester will interrupt traffic for the majority of the day.  The closures will affect Interstate 684 southbound in Bedford between Exit 6 (Route 35) and Exit 5 (Saw Mill River Parkway) on Thursday, June 1, according to the New York State Department of Transportation.  The closures will last between 9:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. and will facilitate bridge work.

Expect Delays: Lane Closure Planned For Stretch Of I-84 State officials have advised motorists to expect delays due to a planned lane closure on a stretch of I-84 in the area. The New York State Department of Transportation said Dutchess County motorists should expect one lane to close on I-84 eastbound and westbound, between Exit 46 (US Route 9) in East Fishkill and Exit 44 (State Route 52) in Fishkill. The closure is set to take place between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 29, to accommodate bridge work, officials said.
