Cash Register Stolen During Break-In At Post Road Restaurant Police are investigating a break-in of a popular taco spot in Darien. Officers from the Darien Police Department received a report on Monday, March 18 from the owner of Blue Wave Taco on Post Road, who reported that his employees alerted him to an overnight burglary. According to police, employees that showed up to work to open the restaurant found that the rear glass door was shattered. Inside the doorway, there was a brick, which investigators believe was used to break the glass and gain entry into the building.
