IDs Released For Four On Plane That Crashed Off Long Island Coast The identities have been released of the four people on board a small plane that crashed during a thunderstorm late Saturday afternoon off of a beach on Long Island. Two bodies have been recovered. Coast Guard rescue crews, local agencies, fishing vessels, and shore units continue to search the area for the two missing passengers. This week, the Ridgefield Police Department welcomed new Officer Carlos Olivares, who was sworn in during a ceremony at police headquarters, he is now set to train at the Connecticut Police Academy for more than six months before returning to protect residents in Ridgefield.
