Alicia Dibos of Old Greenwich finished third while Susan Ginter of Rolling Hills of Wilton took fourth in the championship flight of the LPGA Teaching and Club Pros championship on Wednesday at The Golf Club at Balllantyne in North Carolina. Fairfield's Angela Aulenti, the head pro at Sterling Farms in Stamford, finished tied for seventh in the senior division.
Dibos shot a final round 70 to finish at 218, three shots behind winner Lori Atsedes, of Litchfield Park, Ariz. Dibos opened with rounds of 75-73 in the 54-hole tournament. Ginter shot 71-74-74 to finish tied for fourth at 219.
Aulenti shot 74-77-74 to finish at 225. Carolyn Hill of St. Petersburg, Fla., won by a whopping 12 shots with a 54-hole total of 204. Complete results are available on the LPGA website.
