FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. Early bird registration for the Pineapple Classic 5K run to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society closes March 31.
The race will be May 19 at the Greenwich Polo Club. The Hawaiian-themed run includes obstacles and post-race features, such as a beer garden, Hawaiian entertainment and a luau.
In a new process for this years race, runners can register as an individual or as a team of two or more people. The early bird fee is $50 per person, $30 for children ages 18-and-under. The registration fee includes: race entry, tech shirt, race goody bag and entry to luau (food and drinks).
