Spero Moschos, 36, of Stamford was charged with second-degree robbery and conspiracy to commit second-degree robbery. He was arrested at the Norwalk Superior Court and held on a $150,000 bond.
Moschos is the second person arrested in connection with the robbery at the bank, which is located at 941 Danbury Road in Wilton. On April 14, police arrested Joseph Boccuzzi, 34, of Norwalk and charged him with second-degree robbery and first-degree larceny.

Police said that on Feb. 24, a man, later identified as Boccuzzi, entered the bank and demanded cash. No weapon was visible and no threats were made, police said. He left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash and fled in a green 1997 Honda Accord, which was abandoned and recovered a short distance from the bank, police said..
In addition to the Wilton robbery, Boccuzzi has been charged with a spree of robberies that took place in Stamford, Norwalk and Southport. Police said that Boccuzzi robbed the First County Bank on Hope Street in Stamford twice. The first robbery occurred on Nov. 12, 2016 and the second was on Feb. 3, 2017, according to police.
Moschos was convicted in 2010 for taking part in a bank robbery spree that hit 12 Fairfield County banks. According to the Stamford Advocate, when he was released from prison he secured a job with the city's highway department. He later began acting as a mentor for Boccuzzi and gave him advice prior to the first Stamford bank robbery, according to the Stamford Advocate.
The Stamford Advocate reported that Boccuzzi repaid Moschos for his advice with bundles of heroin. Moschos later pressured Boccuzzi to hit the Stamford bank a second time, and acted as a lookout during that robbery, according to the Stamford Advocate. He was arrested in April and charged with second-degree robbery and conspiracy to commit second-degree robbery, according to the Stamford Advocate.

The Norwalk robbery took place at the First County Bank on Main Street on Dec. 6. Police said that Boccuzzi entered wearing a mask from the movie "Scream" and left with cash. No weapons were displayed and nobody was injured. Boccuzzi was arrested in connection with that robbery earlier this week.

The Southport arrest stems from an attempted robbery that took place on Feb. 22 at the People's United Bank on Old Post Road. Police said that Boccuzzi showed up at the bank after it had closed and approached the door with a duffle bag, but was unable to enter because the doors were locked. When he saw that employees had noticed him, he fled, according to police.
