Wilton Police say they initiated a traffic stop after observing the driver a 2019 Subaru Forester following too closely in the area of Danbury Road and New Street on Sunday, Sept. 8 around 1:30 a.m.
During interviewing, police say the driver, identified as Deborah Finkel, 55, of Redding, was displaying signs of intoxication. She was then asked to perform a series of field sobriety tests, which she allegedly did not pass.
Finkel was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs and following too closely. She was released after posting a $260 bond and is scheduled to appear at Norwalk Superior Court on Thursday, Sept. 19.
