Ex-Catholic School Dean Arrested In Wilton On Heroin Charges Enters Rehab

DARIEN, Conn. -- Darien resident Nicholas J. deSpoelberch, a former dean of a Catholic high school in New York City, was accepted into a court-ordered drug education program after being arrested charged with heroin possession in Wilton in July, according to thehour.com.

DeSpoelberch was found in possession of several bags of heroin after police were called to Old Highway Extension in Wilton to investigate a car stopped in the road, police said at the time of his arrest. He was charged with possession of narcotics, a felony, as well as possession of drug paraphernalia and retention of pills in an original container. 

DeSpoelberch, 35, was dean of students at Regis High School in Manhattan.
