Vincent John 'Jack' Nolan Jr., 88, Of Wilton

WILTON, Conn. – Vincent John 'Jack' Nolan Jr., of Wilton, died Oct. 18 at St. Vincent’s Medical Center. He was 88.

Nolan was born July 29, 1927, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Vincent John Nolan Sr. and Agnes Sharples.

He joined the U.S. Navy in 1944 and served in Japan during the end of World War II.

After his service, Nolan founded Nolan Associates of Wilton, serving as the company's president.

He was predeceased by his parents, brother Richard 'Dick' Nolan, two sisters, Phyllis Southard and Marijane Barry.

Nolan is survived by his wife Ellen of Wilton; four children Vincent J. Nolan III and his wife Guilana of Avon, Barbara Nolan Rossi of Wilton, Michelle Bartlett and her husband Hugh Bartlett of Fairfield and Kevin J. Nolan and his wife Fran of Fairfield, 14 grandchildren, and two sisters, Nancy Hughes of Illinois and Judy Garvin of Minnesota.

Visiting hours will be Thursday at the Bouton Funeral Home, 31 W. Church St., Georgetown.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 229 Danbury Road, Wilton.
