WILTON, Conn. – Carolyn Elizabeth (Blain) Miska, 51, of Wilton, died suddenly Saturday, Aug. 1.
Born Aug. 10, 1963, in Bellerose, New York, the daughter of William and Constance (Judd) Blain. She moved to Wilton in 1972, graduated from the Wilton High School in 1981 and went to Norwalk Community College School of Nursing. Her career over the past 20 years was full of joy as a labor and delivery nurse.
She is survived by her husband, Walter Miska; her daughters, Alexandra and Mackenzie; three brothers; a sister and brother-in-law; and 10 nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will take place Thursday, Aug. 6 from 5-8 p.m. at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave, Norwalk. A celebration of her life will take place Friday, Aug. 7 at 10 a.m. at Christ and Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 75 Church Lane, Westport, Connecticut.
In lieu of flowers, her family is respectfully requesting donations be made for the children, Alexandra and Mackenzie. Donations may be sent to Sven Hansen, 85 Cross Highway, Westport, CT 06880.
