WILTON, Conn. -- Caryl Nemore Ford, 69, formerly of Wilton and Norwalk, died Wednesday, Sept. 9.
Born in Detroit on Sept. 25, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Leon R. and Elsie K Nemore. Ford was a resident of Sapphire Beach Resort, St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, and a longtime former Wilton resident.
Ford graduated from Norwalk High School in the early 1960s and went on to the University of Connecticut.
She had been a property manager in St. Thomas.
Survivors include her son Jason Thomas of Ridgway, Colo.; a brother Jeffrey L. Nemore and wife Hillie T. of Redding; and her partner Jeffrey A. Smith of St. Thomas.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 13, at Temple Shalom, 259 Richards Ave., Norwalk.
Shiva will be held immediately afterward starting at 1 p.m. at the residence of Jeff and Hillie Nemore, 7 Station Road, West Redding.
