Wilton Exec Gets 33 Months for Cheating Hospitals

WILTON, Conn. — William Roe of Wilton was sentenced to 33 months in prison Monday for embezzling about $200,000 from two hospitals in 2009 and 2010, the Danbury News-Times reports.

Roe, 55, received nearly the maximum sentence as part of a deal worked out by federal prosecutors and his lawyers. The sentence was imposed in Hartford by U.S. District Court Judge Vanessa Bryant, the newspaper reported. To read the whole story from the Danbury News-Times click here.
