WILTON, Conn. Its a week of meetings, movies and talks in Wilton. Here is a list of events for the week of March 12-15:
Monday
7 p.m.: The Wilton Police Commission will hold its regular meeting in Town Hall Room B. Discussions will include sign removal from the Belden Hill and Route 33 intersection.
7 p.m.: As a part of the Wilton Library Reel Monday series, the documentary Miss Representation will be shown. The film takes a look at womens value and potential in todays world. A discussion led by Wilton native Kathleen Reeves will follow the film.
7:15 p.m.: Wiltons Planning and Zoning Commission will hold its regular meeting in Town Hall Room A in the Annex building in Town Hall Campus. Discussions will include the pending application for rezoning the Crossway shopping center.
Tuesday
6:30 p.m.: The Wilton Deer Committee will hold its regular meeting in Town Hall Room A in the Annex building in Town Hall Campus.
7 p.m.: Members of Wiltons clergy come together in the first of a three-part series hosted by the Wilton Library called Islam: An Overview.
7:30 p.m.: Wilton Democratic Town Committee will hold officer elections in Town Hall Room B.
7:30 p.m.: The Wilton Republican Town Committee is holding its meeting in Town Hall Room A in the Annex building.
Wednesday
Noon: The Wilton Library Readers come together for a book discussion led by Susan Boyar on Great House by Nicole Krauss.
4 p.m.: A special workshop put on by the Wilton Board of Education about technology applications will be put on at the Wilton High School Professional Library.
5 p.m.: The Wilton Tree Committee is holding its meeting in Wilton Town Hall Room A in the Annex Building.
5 p.m.: The Wilton Water Pollution Control Meeting is being held in the Town Hall Room B.
7:30 p.m.: A special meeting of the Investment Committee, OPEB, and Retirement Trustees will be held in the Town Hall Room B.
