WILTON, Conn. — The town of Wilton has introduced a new app and web platform that allows residents to report neighborhood issues that need fixing.
The SeeClickFix app lets citizens report non-emergencies such as potholes, downed trees, traffic safety, or park and playground issues. Users can utilize an interactive map, or just enter an address to precisely pinpoint where the problem is. Once a problem is reported, the appropriate town staff member will be alerted and coordinate a response.
Residents can also select a previously entered issue to indicate agreement with the request, make additional comments, or follow the issue. According to the town, its goal is constructive communication focused on identifying, prioritizing and fixing issues.
Town staff will respond to SeeClickFix requests during the regular business hours. If a report comes in on a weekend, holiday, or after hours, it will be addressed on the next business day.
SeeClickFix should not be used to report emergencies. For emergencies, call 911.
