Resident Reports Video Game Thefts

A resident of Vista Road in Wilton reported that someone entered an unlocked vehicle in his driveway and took two Nintendo DS game players, 12 Nintendo DS game cartridges and a Nintendo DS case on Sunday, Aug. 29.

The man said he left the items in his car Sunday evening, and when he went to his car Monday morning, he could not find them. The items are valued at $130 for each game player, $30 for each game and $60 for the case.

The man also said $40 had been taken out of a wallet left in a second unlocked vehicle. The wallet also contained credit cards, which were left behind.

Police said the only sign of entry was the missing items. Neighbors interviewed by police did not report seeing anything suspicious. The case is still open.
