Old ID, Drunken Driving Get Man Arrested

Wilton Police stopped a Florida man, who turned out to be a Danbury man, for driving 63 mph in a 40-mph zone on Route 7 at 2:41 a.m. Sept. 12.

Raymond Upton, 47, has been living in Danbury for the past nine years, however, he was still carrying his Florida license when he was pulled over.

Also, Upton's vehicle was swerving into other lanes, and he failed sobriety tests. He was charged with driving under the influence, failure to keep right, speeding and failure to register in Connecticut.

?Paul Lucas, 54, of Port Chester, N.Y., turned himself into Wilton Police on Sept. 11 after learning the Office of Adult Probation issued a warrant for his arrest after violating his parole. Lucas was originally arrested in May 2009 for driving under the influence. The police report did not say how Lucas violated his parole. He posted a $10,000 bond and will appear in court Sept. 21.
