Candidate for Wilton Senate Seat to Meet Voters

WILTON, Conn. – Voters will get to meet Carolanne Curry, the newly chosen Democratic candidate for the 26th District state Senate seat, at a breakfast Sunday, May 26, in Wilton. Democrats from the seven towns in the district nominated the Westport resident Monday night.

Curry faces State Sen. Toni Boucher, R-Wilton, who has represented the district for four years.

Prior to running for public office, Curry worked for the City of Bridgeport, cutting financial waste, and served in the State House as administrative assistant to the Senate majority leader and Senate president.

She was also president and founder of Blue Hills Insurance, a life, health and accident insurance brokerage, and partner and vice president of Income Protectors, Inc., also an insurance brokerage. For more information on Curry, visit her website.

The Breakfast is Saturday, May 26, at 9 a.m. at Trackside Teen Center, 15 Station Road. The breakfast is open to the public. Tickets can be purchased at the Wilton Democrats' website.
