WILTON, Conn. – The Wilton Clergy Association continues its four-part lecture series on Tuesday, March 17, as the latest installment of 'And Who Is My Neighbor?' will be in the Wilton Library's Brubeck Room.
The presentation will feature Kevin Meehan, program manager at Ambler Farm; Colleen Fawcett, Wilton Youth Services director; and Charles Smith, Wilton's assistant superintendent for curriculum and instruction.
The trio will talk about ways to give youth community-building skills from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
The series of lectures deals with the question of how civility and compassion can repair and transform community life, particularly in these days of diversity, differences of opinion, polarization and the occasional hostile conflict.
The Wilton Clergy, the Wilton Interfaith Action Committee and the Wilton Library are co-sponsors of the series, scheduled for every Tuesday in March.
Speakers for March 24 will be Holocaust survivor Judith Altmann and Dr. Kareem Adeeb, the Imam of the American Institute for Islamic Studies and Chair, Interfaith Council of Southwest Connecticut. The March 31 program will close the series with a panel of Wilton Clergy Association members.
Each lecture is free but registration for each individual lecture is recommended.
