What's Happening in Wilton This Weekend

WILTON, Conn. – Pull out your green clothes Wilton – everyone is Irish this weekend because it’s St. Patrick’s Day. Here is what’s happening in town the weekend of March 16 to 18:

Friday

• 1 p.m.: An informational session on the National Charity League, a mother-daughter club, will be held at Trackside Teen Center.

• 7:30 p.m.: Trackside Teen Center is hosting a St. Patrick’s Day party for Middlebrook Middle School students.

Saturday

• 10 a.m.: Head over to the Wilton Library to participate for a full day of crafts, based on St. Patrick’s Day, for children of all ages.

• Noon: The first Annual Trackside Battle of the Bands is taking place until 5:30. Teens can root for their favorite local Fairfield County bands.

• 1 p.m.: The Wilton Family Y is playing host to nationally ranked Irish Dancers, who will show off their moves and will feature traditional Irish music to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day.

Sunday

• 4 p.m.: Artist Don Troiani, the final speaker of the American Civil War Series, will take to the stage at Wilton Library.
