Trout Fishing Returns to Wilton's Kiwanis Pond

WILTON, Conn. – The trout derby is on! Wilton Family Y’s Kiwanis Pond once again plays host to the Spring Fishing Derby that will last all day April 28.

From 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., the pond will be open to all, no license is needed. It will be stocked with rainbow and brook trout for spin fishing only.

Participants are required to bring their own poles and gear. Bait and gutting services will be available.

The derby is open to all ages. Families are encouraged to enjoy a full day of fishing and being outdoors.

Admission is $10 per person; ages 5 and under are free. Payment can be made at the pond gate the day of the derby. Prizes will be awarded to seven winners across several categories.
