The lecture will be from 4 to 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 1, in the Sloan House Gallery at the Wilton Historical Society, 224 Danbury Road/Route 7, Wilton.
She will also give a demonstration of how she hooks her artwork, and will talk about her creative process. The pieces in the exhibition – rugs, wall hangings, and pillows – are alive with color, texture and movement.
Myles’ hooked art has been exhibited widely across Connecticut, Maine and West Virginia since 1990. Her work will be exhibited through Oct. 3.
Registration is limited. There is no charge for Wilton Historical Society Members; cost to nonmembers is $10
