20th Annual 'Jazz In The Garden' Coming To Wilton's Weir Farm

WILTON, Conn. -- The Dan Brubeck Quartet will play the 20th Annual "Jazz in the Garden" at Weir Farm National Historic Site on Sept. 20.

“We are excited to welcome The Dan Brubeck Quartet, with Dan Brubeck on drums, Adam Thomas, vocals and bass, and featuring Brubeck mainstays Chuck Lamb on piano and Mike DeMicco on guitar to celebrate our 20th annual Jazz in the Garden concert at Weir Farm National Historic Site and the release of their new CD,” said Janice Hess, Weir Farm Art Center's executive director. 

The Dan Brubeck Quartet recently released a two CD set "Celebrating the Music and Lyrics of Dave and Iola Brubeck."

Proceeds from Jazz in the Garden benefit the Weir Farm Art Center's Artist-in-Residence program. 

The performance runs from 3 to 5 p.m. Parking will be at the Branchville Elementary School at 40 Florida Road. Free shuttles will run to and from Weir Farm continuously between 2 and 6 p.m. 

Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for teens. Admission is free for children under 12. 

Purchase tickets online at www.jazzatweir.com. Tickets will not be sold at Weir Farm. Branchville Elementary School will sell tickets the day of the event beginning at 2 p.m.
